Description

Bought some black and white film and have been in search of the great contrast... nikon n80- matte and level goose in ps cs. Sorry I haven't been around for commenting and posting and the like. work has been super,crazy busy and we moved to a house that is beautiful but needs our attention to make it "ours" all which cuts into my fooling around on-line time. I have been checking in weekly and have taken the usual dose of inspiration from Renderosity though. so thanks. have a great day. feel free to make comments of all types as life is learning.

I like the contrasts although the white of the shells could be brighter since they are white. That would deepen the shadows I think. The focus is curious. I think I found it but it seems to be small and not centrally located. I like this though. I've been wondering what to do with my basket(s) of shells... :-)

thanks for your comments PJ, I initially tried the focus on the big clam shell in the middle. However the image in my viewfinder looked really flat when I did that, so I rolled the focus until I thought the shot looked interesting. I do see your point though.
