Description

You're invited to the Grand Opening of Dockside Restaurant and Gallery. The fish is always fresh, the view is always spectacular and the sculptures are ever changing. Just playing in Vue again. I took one of the rooms from a scene that came with Vue and changed it totally. Gone are the columns, the roof, the floor and the ceiling with it's many lights. Instead I added a domed glass roof that I found somewhere in my travels on the net, a few years ago... changed the atmosphere and lighting. There a good reason I have external harddrives filled with stuff...I know I'll use it someday! :) All of the furniture and boats are included with Vue. The exceptions are the Parasols on the outside deck...another Alain Gracia find...and the sculpture in the front, which is a Renderosity freebie. Comments are always welcome and thanks for taking the time to look!

The thing you have caught really well here is the theming - it looks like a swish place should. The ships look a bit like galleon's - which is a bit out of kilter with the modernity of the bar, very minor point though. I love it really! __ "Note to all: If you wish to participate in a productive discussion about how to improve artistic and technical abilities while discussing your own and other people's images, please visit the new 'critique forum': http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showforum.php?forum_id=12474
