C'est au cours d'une de ses promenades avec Erwan que celui-ci lui révèle le secret de leur peuple. Ayant quitté leur planète mourante il ya longtemps, ils sont venu s'échouer ici et se sont installés malgré l'hostilité du Peuple des Grands, habitants d'origine de la planète. Depuis il règne entre eux une guerre lattente. Le petit peuple à peu à peu vu ses vaisseaux rouiller et volontairement laissé se perdre la maitrise de la technologie qui aurait pu leur permettre d'en construire d'autre, et ceci pour ne pas retomber dans les erreures qui ont conduit leur planète à sa perte. With the help of the watchman’s map and his directions, Marguerite travels to one of the Little People’s villages where she can finally rest a bit. During one of her walks with Erwan, he reveals the secret of his people.
