Wont say much about this image, hopefully it lets your own imagination fill in the gaps.
After spending too long on this image I've come to want to make it differently so you will probably be seeing another version although much different here soon. I've appreciated all of your comments and apologize for not always being able to return the gesture. Our internet is very slow here in Iraq.

The two main light sources here have a great interplay between them, first the "godray" like lighting from above with volumetric effect seems to be lifting her up, then the candle light seems to be pulling her back- then in the middle, the way the midsection is lit is really cool since it is coming from both angles- great choice of prop for the background/setting and the clothing with the eye cover is a perfect choice for the mood and feel of this image!

Very dramatic! I can really feel her hovering upwards, moving towards a...new destiny, a new challenge, hope. I've always liked this costume. I haven't used it yet, but it's very poignant because she's blind and yet she sees. The double lights from above and below are fantastic. The one from below gives her great texture and is cooler as she moves upwards into the hotter light. Her life is about to change. Very nice. Can't wait to see the redux. :)
