This is REALLY amazing!! Can you please detail the process you used on modelling and finally rendering the image? Did you use HDRI? hints on problems you encountered while modelling this beast?!?

Absolutly phonomenal job! This is your first attempt?!?! Completely photorealistic. Only weak spot is the licence plate, but thats no biggie. Great Job! =DBZ=

Great modelling, great render..... I just dont feel that the pic is as warm as it would be in real life...... No criticism - lots of car pics are similar.... I would just like to see it in what doesn't look like 5am....

Sorry but I don't believe it's your own model and a LW render. But may be I'm wrong ? I have visited the official 'Peugeot' site at http://www.peugeot.com and your picture is too much the same as pictures I have seen there. Please prove me I'm wrong and I will apologize... and will buy a copy of LightWave...

I can't believe how many of you don't think this is really a rendering. Has anyone bothered to take a look at Artquantic's other image in his gallery? Just because this level of quality is rare at renderosity doesn't mean it's a fake. I for one totally believe this to be a rendering and a very damn good one. If any of you still don't think this level of photorealism is possible then you should take a look at some of these sites... www.suurland.com www.trinisica.com www.3dluvr.com/willi/main/ or www.synthetic-images.com where there is even an animation and tutorial for creating something like this. Nice work Jacques!!

I figured out that Lightwave has a very realistic render, it can make objects look like they where rendered in that picture, if you make aPeugot 206 model and render it in a texture dome, you will probably get something like this and it will looks too real to be true!!

He has posted a wireframe, go to www.cgtalk.com and go to 3d section, and find france car, his name there is the ripper or something, go to last page and you have the wireframe. I didnt belive it first, but i guess thats froof enough, i have seen modeling that looks that good, but the reflections and all that is what make it so damn real. And he did use a photo...

Amazing work! If I hadn't seen any of your previous works, I wouldn't believe it myself. Would love to see a wireframe just the same. Did you use Sub-d or spline or the old poly push and pull method because the model just looks so clean?

Not sure if this link to the wireframe will work.. but here goes! http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=25bfd80db3840d465045fec96e0bf95b&threadid=2817&perpage=15&pagenumber=4 (Watchout for the text wrap.. just rebuild the URL from the wapped lines)

Ok, I gotta know... did you put the two blown poly's in to brag, or were you so exhausted after the incredible effort this image required that you just honestly missed them? Because, if I EVER produced something one-tenth this incredible, I'd put 'em in their just to brag... OMFG, this is amazing.
