Description

This is the World War 2 when German troops used machine guns regularization is widely known, it was one of the representative works. I produced the theme mainly because I like to read the history of World War 2 and study all kinds of weapons.

Ahh the venerable MG34. An excellent machinegun and according to legend the machinegun that introduced the General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) concept. The GPMG is a machinegun that can be used in several various roles on the battle field such as a light portable machinegun, a sustained fire machine gun fixed at a machine gun rest and as primary or secondary armament on armored vehichles. The downfall of this gun was the fact it was, in typical german fashion, overbuilt. It was a design and craftmanship of the time of peace before WWII when you could make such advanced work of arts (if you can call it that). As soon as the german army was deep into the war the manufacture of the MG34 couldnt keep up and it was replaced with the MG42, a simpler GPMG but which was still a very good machinegun (todays german army use a modern version of the MG42 known as the MG3).

y'know, someone in the Poser forum just the other day was lamenting the lack of Machine Guns available...I sense an opportunity. The MG34 was a precision instrument, unlike it's workhorse son, the MG42..;) great modeling.

Well, well, I knew that MG34 and MG42 are completely Germany in the Second World War are the representative machine gun,There are of course some never mentioned works. I exposition is because I only had this MG34, only pictures on the status of research and modeling really is a very tiring task. Of course, two machine guns have their respective advantages and disadvantages. MG34 is more expensive, complex but excellent stability,It is the vehicle carries weapon the most important choice. MG42 has a cheaper, high reliability, but the speed too fast to waste bullets and stability are poor. It also thank you for your valuable advice and information.
