Description

I couldn't believe it. I see my FIRST Robberly this Summer and share it here with you guys and then just yesterday over my lunch hour, I stroll the fields at work and find 2 more! I felt I hit the jackpot! This time I had my 300mm lens attached; not my macro - so really, this isn't a 'macro'. But what category would this fall under? Animals? (Even though fitting for these two, I still wasn't sure lol) Anyway, I added a bit of PW of course .. maybe some of you think that's ruining a picture. But for me, doing it is actually theraputic and relaxing to do ........ :) Thanks so much for your time and your comments and critique. I appreciate all of it. :) Have a wonderful day! Shari

It LOOKS macro, so why not call it that? :o) Excellent find and capture, Shari. A great way to celebrate your 500th! (BTW, I checked my job description and no, I'm not allowed to "stroll the fields" while at work. I may have to find myself another job...)

Ick bugs, but this is a fine macro. I have always admired your postwork, especially like this image where an object is breaking free of the matte, it is a cool effect in my book.

The presentation of your work is as important as the actual composition. There is no right or wrong. If you like it, then it's right no matter what anyone says. I haven't seen any out of frame pics make it in photography magazinesbut some day I hope they start recognizing this as part of photo-art. With all that said(and that's a lot for me) great shot and love the out of frame work Shari.
