Yet another experiment with infrared and mirroring. I like this base photo used to make this, but feel that mirroring it gives it a little extra something. Besides, it creates a fairly realistic central palm tree and a neat firebird shadow in the foreground. As with all of my mirrored images, I change little bits on either side so that they are not exact mirrors. Can you spot where I altered either side? Be sure to view large, this is a BIG pano. ------

Another interesting and beautiful comp. I only spotted the round sprinkler disk on the left and the dark spot on th center palm tree. This mirrored effect is really interesting with shapes created.

Very clean lines on this but I think that is what puts me off of this. Its very well done but it looks too manipulated for my taste. Very good postwork though.

It does add a lot of spice and produce the unexpected like the shadow in the foreground which I almost missed.

I found the car at 400% (but only because you mentioned it), then saw Gary's comment and just laughed! This is cool. It makes me think of 1930s Florida Art Deco stuff. Nice!

Nope! Not even at 400% can I find that blasted car, so if you don't tell us where it is now, I'm gonna sulk!!! LOL!! Well at least you get people looking at your photos and I mean, REALLY looking!! As Yogi Berra used to say, when you come to a fork in the road, take it! A delightful concept in infrared and mirroring, my friend! What Alice would have encountered if Wonderland was actually in Florida. Since my computer doesn't have the capability of viewing the whole scene at 400%, or any larger percent for that matter, finding a car or any other differences or minutia in this abstract scene is beyond my many talents.
