Pretence, that is what this one has. It predates Harley Earle but it doesn't ignore it's bigger brothers at Buick and Cadillac. Only the 1/2 inch of travel in the footfeed betrays the myth as on enters and starts to move off. Is it accelerating? No blipping the throttle for this one. This is load sensitive design. This one is lowered like stepping on a tight wire not slammed to the ground like a bad fall.
