Creating 3D characters that look like their 2D counterparts is definately NOT easy- this is really cool; great idea and wonderfully executed! I am particularly interested in the selective outlining of areas like the mouths and eyelashes and homers 5 o'clock shadow- that is a really cool effect and what really makes it match the cartoon. Very nice!

Thank you...! The image at the top is a straight render w/no post work at all... that was really tough. The "mouth lines" and "eyelashes" are actually 3d tubes shaped to look like their mouths, etc. Anyway - thanks for the comments! ~stealthman

nice models of the Simpsons. Now you can see the dichotomy of things. If you post ina non poser gallery your work gets ignored no matter how good it is. great piece.

FANTASTIC! Man, that's really impressive stuff. The characters look spot-on, and I like the solution you came up with for representing Marge's hair. All your work is damn amazing in my opinion.
