Description

This is a location in the nature reserve at Healy Dell, it's known has the Fairies Chapel. The Dell is steeped in local "Lore". This is but one chapter of the story regarding the chapel. Luckily, the Fairy King came to Robin's aid gave him his Uncle's ring which he was told to throw into the coven's cauldron at the Thrutch. This Robin did, the cauldron flew into pieces, and fell into the river. The Fairy King shrivelled the withces into hideous elves, who rushed after the cauldron into a fissure in the rock. The King said "There, you have a chapel for your evil worship. And long may it be ere any mortal be foolish as to seek you out in your wicked den." Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you may make. May the sun shine down on you where ever you are. Makes a change from stained glass but I have been into another church close by so expect more soon. No postwork, just cropped and resized for upload.

Beautiful shot Jeff. Love the way the light catches part of the water. Shots like this remind me of angel hair.

I'm just browsing a couple of shots from your early stuff, this is fantastic, I really like it. The shadows and light are superb and of course the fast flow of the water from a brilliantly timed exposure! A pleasure to view this Jeff, Bravo!

Glad I stopped to go through your gallery. This is really knockout. The shot and light is great (I'm assuming you used a slow shutter speed?) and the narrative is interesting. Thank you!
