Hummingbird
With a spirit that flies so free
Kissing every flower
Flirting so sweetly with me
Spreading beauty and love
So joyfully.
This image was inspired by a little green and orange colored hummer who has been visiting me daily in my garden. It comes when I sit quietly and think of LJ. When it first appeared, it flew up close to my eyes, startling and thrilling me in the same moment. It hovered so close, then flew away. It has since visited me several more times, once while I was sitting in my upstairs solarium gazing out the window, that little hummer appeared on the other side of the glass, looking at me for several seconds before it flew away.
The message of the hummingbird is timelessness, with a spirit that must fly free, in search of beauty, spreading joy and love to all it touches. I hope these little hummers bring joy to you, too.

I LOVE SCROLLING DOWN TO SEE ALL THE ARTISTS WHO LOVE YOUR WORK. INCLUDING ME. HUMMINGBIRDS ARE A FAVORITE. I AM SUPRISED THEY ARE HERE IN LAS VEGAS. My Dad used to call these gems with wings. He said they appear when the thoughts you're thinking are as precious as gems. You hold the memories as dear as jewels, and classify them by the colour of the visitor that day.
