Description
Ran this one with a simple light, and very complex settings. Took 5 hours due to the "area" lighting in C4D. It just did not look right any other way and with this method one can see the very tiny shadows on details as small as the straps on the garters but the light is not hard edged like typical raytraced shadows are. The cost is in time for this is a small image to have taken so long. I hope you enjoy it.

I like better and by far, this image that the two preceding ones without real decoration! Very beautiful development of the woman here!!!

I know what you mean..I've noticed a complex area light in c4d can mean the difference between a 1 hour render and a 5 hour render..I think this is simple but extremely gorgeous..expecially all of the woodwork and textures:) Samantha

I wish I knew how to use C4D and could get results like these. Superb work, but then it always is.

Superb detail;

Superb! You CAN, with fantastic results, use both GI AND area lights (with falloff{inversed square} turned on the area light) at the same time, as long as the intensities are set properly on each. This gives about the best shadow results that can be had, but as you indicated, the cost is a severely loooooong rendering time.

That's a great use of the study props. I'd never thought to turn it into an alcove. Now you've got me thinking...

Awesome lighting. ^_^

I had to find myself looking for the shadow at first. But after viewing the larger image I could see it was there, albeit very subtle. Not sure if it was worth the extra time, but very nice results. I do love the composition. My eyes keep going the riding crop in the empty chair and then back to her standing there and patiently waiting. Might the next render be after she gets a smack? I'll just wait and see ;)

Such a beautiful and subtly detailed image, definitely worth a close view and I appreciate how much time was required to pull this off. The shadows and lighting are wonderful and bring out the perfect pose, expression and scene elements you put together here. Fantastic work!

Another entrancing story-image... what has she done wrong? And was it worth the price she will now have to pay? Excellent.
