Description

I call it Ken's jamjar and it really is this shape. On a summer evening people are playing in the stream of water in the pavement in front of it. Fine for getting a sprained ankle if you do not see too well!!!

You know. I'm all for interesting architecture. I really like the Gerkin, or Swiss Bank tower or whatever it's called. But the new Town hall is already looking dated. I imagine in 15 or 20 years we'll look at the style the same way that we regard 70's office blocks. Nice photo anyway. Summer evening? I wonder what's up with the trees. Maybe they lost their leaves aearly.

Excellent work, like the compositional element formed by the statue and two playing children!

Not actually a waste of money it's a status symbol for the city to be proud of, plus it's the greenest city hall in the world with the solar panels on the roof making 80% of it's power needed. I like your POV, think the sculpture could be closer to the lens but then the kids playing wouldn't be in shot. Which for me are the only thing that make the shot...
