Description

A militaristic Angel, wielder of the sword of flame. In the war against the Morningstar, he led the armies of Heaven. In a one-on-one duel with Lucifer, he lost his left eye and might have been killed if not for intervention by Raguel. He longs to face Lucifer once more and possibly harbors some resentment towards Raguel for his 'interference', though he'd be loathe to acknowledge this, even to himself. He is the oldest of the Archangels after Lucifer, and works diligently to be like the Creator. Sometimes stiff and literal, he is also fiercly loyal and eager to serve all of creation. He has a strong sense of duty but feels no particular rage or passion against his enemies other than the Lightbringer. Michael relates best with Uriel as their dispositions are in certain ways similar. *** This is the first in a series of character portraits for a project I've been working on about a group of Archangels who live on Earth in search of God. I'm considering turning this into a comic book, but who knows.
