Description

We support the animal shelter in an town close to us and generally it is dogs and cats interned there. An article in the newspaper spoke of this rescued horse. The shelter erected fences and made a nice temporary home for the soft eyed mare. She was adopted not long after the news was public knowledge. I thank the folks who run the shelter and those willing and able to take in the animals and provide finally a decent home.

Always supported the local shelter where evr I have lived. In Colorado we were a foster family. We would take in the strays on slate to be put down after their week in the shelter. We would board them for the remainder fo their time. They would be adopted eventually, so we had different pets all the time. It was an adventure, one year we had seven horses over Christmas break. People would leave several bales of hay, and a barrel of water and go away. Animal rescue would take them away.
