Description

It's been awhile since I last uploaded on of these, this was taken in my mothers flight cage, at the moment she is looking after 2, this one was poisoned, possibly by eating a poisoned rodent, as you can see he is well on the road to recovery & should be released very soon. LESSON: Careful what you poison around your house, you never know what else it will kill. Thanks for looking Stuart P.S. Information on these birds can be found further back in my gallery.

Amazing how his feathers blend in so well with the wood he's standing on!!??!! Thanks for the reminder too!!!! Poor fella, glad he's on the mend!!!! Excellent image!!!!!

This is my all time favorite owl! I have tried so many times to take photos of the one at our zoo but they have its cage nearly hidden by foliage and in the very deep shade even if you can get past the plants and wire cage. Excellent shot!
