Description
~the year was 2001 when i first discovered this cave. it all seemed at the time a dream.. no a nightmare as ispied that colossal ... thing of legend and myth. a drgon so enormous so black even the shadows seemed lit like the brightest day.
i remember stumbling into it's hidden lair and seeing it's amassed treasures. like fields of colors as far as the eye could see,unknowing that it slumbered in it's midst.
as i reached out with greedy trembling hands to touch a large flawless diamond, i realized an enormous red eye had opened and focused on me.oh the terror that gripped me as the cavern trembled and chilled as if in the deepest artic.
i managed one photo that fated horrifying day. of course none believed what i'd seen since i had nothing to prove my tale.though stories,myths, and legends abounded throughout the world as with bigfoot or loch ness.
now 6 years later i returned to that place inpart to prove i'd conquered my fears and inpart to prove a dragon is indeed living among us. i never found that treasure cove, the dragon's hibernation chamber if you will, again. what i found was... the beast awake and hungry. and it hadn't forgotten my trespass so many years ago. ~an excerpt from a photographer's diary.found somewhere in switzerland.he was never seen or heard from again.

i hope you are all doing well,enjoying your summer holiday.i thank you all for your comments, compliments, faves and support. it's all appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
well i've taken another step in bringing my 2d characters to 'life' in the 3d world. i had my doubts that i would be able to recreate schwarzeeis this way but as you can see i was indeed able to.
i do have to thank all my friends at Deviant again for their amazing work with ps actions that allowed me to rework a really dark photo of the inside of the minot in switzerland so i could make a background for this pic.
i hope you all enjoy what i've created this go round.

Wow! I know .. I'm repeating everyone else, but that's what came out of my mouth! I think this is exactly as it would be if I were standing there. The dragon all black and white, hard to figure out, just know that something big and hungry remembers I've been here before .. the darkness is overwhelming .. and soooo cold .. Awesome very cool, wild image!! And the backdrop for the dragon is awesome!
