Description

This paintings asks the questions, "Is the grass really greener on the other side? Are you willing to take the risk if you think it is? We often believe that life is better somewhere else. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is not. Some have the courage to find the answer, some do not. It is all the cycle of living. This is a digital painting done entirely with Photoshop. There were no scanned or imported images used. The dove on the fence post required over 60 layers and is 8 inches wide in the full size painting of 44x64 inches. It took 162 hours to complete, lost count of the layers after 400. Russ

Exquisite. This is gorgeous! I am very impressed. I know one thing about grass, it is never as green if you cut it too short. I just noticed that my rating on this had changed from a 5 to a 2 as the page was reloading. This has happened before. It seems to keep scrolling as the mouse is moved away, I tried to stop the page before it entered the rating. But was too slow. This is worth more than a 5! I will be much more cautious in the future.
