Description
The spiral staircase has been there for hundreds of years. No one knows where it goes. I entered and began my journey, one step at a time. Soon I lost all sense of time and orientation and could not remember if I was going up or if I was going down...

Next time concentrate on your breathing and there will be no mistaking up and down. Not that climbing down is easy, mind you, but if there is gravitation, there is a definite difference. Unless you are a lighter than air, that is. If there is air. ;)

Wonderful spiral!!! The image of a stairwell is so accurate, it reminds me of a place i lived when i was in the city to do my university. Carrying bag after bag of grocieries up all them stairs was not fun. Great image and thanks for the memory of a different time.

Very nice! There's something very jungle-like about the coloring you've used, and yet it does look just like a spiral ladder--so I'm thinking maybe it's a ladder in the jungles of Peru, going down to an ancient city that's been dug up! Some ancient Mayan civilization's ruins, maybe, and part of an archeological dig. See? This one lends itself to imagination quite nicely! grin Bravo!

Well I can totally understand how you can get all confused here. The staircase is endless! Up is down and down is up and how can you even know which way you were going in the first place when up is down and everything goes round and round and it's all so beautiful and you weren't paying attention because you were so busy looking, and anyway, who would've guessed that up and down are interchangeable here? Whoa! I'm dizzy!!
