Description


This was taken at a place called, "Bridges to the past." It's a historical hiking path in West Point, Kentucky. It was taken with a Cannon Rebel XTi and edited in photoshop. Image was desturated and Sepia tone was added.

Yes,I'd like to see the colour version....seems that rusted metal beams and trees would offer a good contrast....a neck-strainer for sure and well done!

When I read that you desaturated the image to obtain a B/W redition, I bit my lip! Please learn to use the Channel Mixer as you will quickly discover that you have so much more control. Here are just some general settings to get you started regardless of the subject matter. Settings are for R/G/B 65/35/00; 00/65/35; 35/65/00; 35/00/65 and any other combination with those numbers. From that point on, fine tune. It is important to note to look at each channel individually to see what filter will reveal most detail and interst in the photograph. Have a great week.
