Description

Inspired by the art of Chesley Bonestell. The sun endlessly burns the same face of this small planet, probably deprived of an atmosphere and nearer from its sun than Earth. No bad weather never comes to erode these spaces where life and movement are excluded. Bryce presets & objects + custom modifications. Photoshop for the flare and final improvement. Enjoy !

Looks very nice, but I do have a question. If the white is snow (I realize it may not be) how can it have snow, if it is so much closer to the sun than Earth is to Sol? It would also have to have some atmosphere to have snow in the first place, too. I think.

Looks like dust to me and that very convincing, fine surfacework

A great scene you've created here - really captures the sense of isolation. The crew of the ship couldn't have picked a more lonely place to crash! A small suggestikon - I think it would look better without the moon in the sky as it would increase the feeling of emptiness even further. Well done!!
