This normally just looks like a slender, furry Red-Hot Poker, and it does also come in a light purple colour. It was this closer view that I found so intriguing!

A very well composed image! I have never seen one of these up close and personal, but definitely quite the attraction after seeing this image! Well I've been trying to find this one for days, without success. It does look similar to the Lythrum (purple loosestrife) that I have growing in my garden, but I don't think there is a white variety, so I have to say I don't know! You've definately foxed me with this one Chris!

Wow, white spaghetti! A most intriguing plant, indeed. I don't recall ever seeing this spectacular beauty anywhere...in the neighborhood, botanical gardens, etc.
