Description

13 May 2012: Why am I still here? Why do the Gods curse me so? I've lost everyone, everything..... Ahh they found me.. Why can't they just leave me alone!?!? It was there mistake not mine that destroyed everyone.... well they just made another mistake..... I hear ONLY 3 men, yes they made another deadly mistake..... KRASH!! FREEZE SOLDIER!! ************************************************* My output has been a little slow lately since I've been working on a comic/movie for my friends here in Iraq. I Still haven't decided whether my comic will stay rendered as it is here or in a more Sin City type medium which makes blood and gore a lot easier. A little background on the story: In the next 5 years things go to %^&* fast, almost overnight. A virus is accidentally released into the air that effected brain tissue. It was later called the Armageddon virus because people that would be described as innocent died first. Death was not simply keeling over, the victim would disintegrate leaving no sign of living cell or tissue. Left behind were only clothes hair and fingernails. The religious started a worldwide panic by saying that the victims were taken to heaven and the living would now be facing judgment in the end of days. People bought it, 25% of the planet was killed by the drug, 50% committed suicide the following week out of fear of God's Wrath. The remaining 25% of the worlds population were not effected because their brain contained a chemical related to violence; either capable of, victim of, or having committed. Needless to say, the world now consisted of Law Enforcement, Military, Terrorists, Psychotics, victims and Criminals. The chemical effected the survivors differently based on chemical levels. Some died, some mutated grotesquely but one man in particular, a former US Soldier, was effected.... well.... thats the story, and the US wants to get to him before he can tell you about it. ********************************************** I wont post every frame (it's actually animated using VUE XSTREAM and Maya which makes it easier to do my comic book frames and a movie at same time)reserved for certain people. I will post enough to follow the storyline if your interested.

Someone is in for a really bad day! Vue + Maya + Poser -- interesting combo! Great render here, the sense of motion is great but not surprising since you mention this is from an animation. I'd very much love to see more of this project!

I think it would be interesting to see more of the project myself. Your storyline sounds intriguing and it would be fun to see where you go with it. As far as the scene above, it is pretty good =_. I do think it would be more alive if you could have the door a bit after its been kicked so we see it splintering. Nice job. Looking forward to more =}

Man, that sounds like a great story line and movie! Hollywood is so boring and desperate they are recycling everything including their underwear these days. This is a great "who's that knocking on my door" action scene that could go very, very wrong for these three- It would be cool to see more of this in 3 or 4 frame cells up here- check out one of my fav artists Jif3D- he does a lot of 3-4 cell comic style stories here and it might provide some inspiration to continue- I like the concept, and this scene- you are whetting the audience's appetite for more!

OK, that's not fair, to start something without finishing it. What happens NEXT? Does he get the three guys, do they get him? :) Great action scene. I like it because all you see are their backs, nothing else. It makes it very impersonal just as it would be if SWAT were knocking on your door. They wouldn't care who you were; it's just business to them. Nice shadow work, the way they kind of evolve from the dark surroundings. 5+ OK, what happens next, mister? :)

Interesting story line, chemical warfare is the cowards way to win, but seems to be the norm these days ! Kool action scene, a bit like your gig at the moment, kicking down doors and looking therapists...ooh, my back hurts...a little to left thanx ! Well done and ~Cheers~ :o)
