Description

Long time ago I had been thinking in making an image based in this famous tale but I never realized how could I focus the subject. Suddenly, working in Vue, without having the purpose of make the image, I saw it clear and then only was let the imagination at work. And here it is. My first work with Vue 6 Infinite! There is a lot of postwork too, specially in the atmosphere. I am proud of this work, I think that is one of the best atmospheres that I have made until now. This is for you, Edgar Allan Poe, wherever you are now, a tribute to your worlds of fantasy.

Very good! I just happened to catch the movie and this scene perfectly fits the part where Vincent Price is describing how wonderful the land used to be, but is now corrupt and rotten. The miasma of decay is really good here, one can almost hear the mosquitos.

Desde pequeño me ha impresionado ese relato de Poe. Muchas veces, caminando por el cementerio de Montjuich, entre los panteones de la parte más noble y antigua, me imaginaba poder dibujar una escena semejante, inspirado en aquellos mármoles grandilocuentes y llenos de sentimientos cuajados en piedra. Todavía no lo he hecho, pero al ver tu imagen he sentido como si fuera algo salido de mí mismo. Gracias por todo!
