Description
This was rendered in 42 minutes, 4 seconds. The volumetric lighting and displacement calculations caused the long render time. I had added a starfield behind the scene, which seemed to have been drowned out by the volumetric lighting. Since this image was created for a Cinema 4D/no compositing allowed challenge I couldn't go back and add the stars in Photoshop. Nonetheless, I got what I was shooting for without the stars.
