Description
Here is one from my March visit to the pyramids in Teotihuacan, Mexico. A bit of a gray day on this visit, so postwork was needed to liven up this series of images. I generally try to keep postwork to a minimum in photography but sometimes you just have no choice. Here I used the shadow/highlight feature of Photoshop CS to enhance the sky a bit. You need to be careful with that tool as if you go too far it will look great on the screen but look obviously manipulated and ugly when you print it. I also used Imagenomics Real Grain and Portraiture (yes!) for the grain and glow effects here. Some edge darkening helped lead the eye where I wanted it. I also bumped the saturation a bit. This is pretty much the same work flow that was used for all the images in this series.

Look at the line of vendors! They know a good place to catch the tourists, don't they? Wonderful pov on this temple. The long road to the foot of it seems moody and the closer you get, the more ominous it gets...Great shot.

I visited the ruins in Belize, they are so fascinating! Looks like they have turned these into a shopping mall. Superb capture!
