Description
I realise that very few will actually take the time to check this little image out.
Behind this is a complicated process that I really worked hard with.
Task: Create a promovideo & cover for a netbased rapmixtape called "No Gimmicks".
I didn't allow myself to use any of the common tricks to "cast a spell" at the viewer to get hold of this mixtape. Wich was rather difficult in my mind. I had to leave behind most of my expertise, and go back to the simplest form for design. We've all been there. Skribling away at our pads in class. Allbeit, it's a while since I did that, but the client's still at the bench so it fit the project well.
I know I will get (and have allready) been taking flack for this little "stunt" of a coverdesign, but I feel content with the result, and I really don't feel the need to flash off my years of experience with photoshop in every task I get.
Here's the link for the video:

In the end it says: "Some things doesn't need a gimmick"
In addition to doing the video, concept and coverdesign I also have 4 tracks on this release (Prod. Nito) and recorded, mixed and mastered 7 of the tracks.
I will upload another cover tomorrow I hope, which really shows off what can be done with patience and experience. Thank you for looking to those who knows what it's like to work under pressure of time, ideas and competition giving you flack.
The "client" so to speak was truly satisfied with the result, and that's enough for me.
Feel free to check out the original size. It features some details worth seeing.

Sometimes simplicity works better than something elaborate and complex. If done right, just about anything can be a good presentation. I hope I got that out right...
