...what I like about your work, Jill - is that it continually evolves - you keep leaning into new areas of expression while keeping a continuity with the past .....and it all springs from the inner you ..no crutches ..working without a net so to speak....very brave - and the results reflect this.

Your characters are always so unique and tell their story so well. Her body looks like it is made out of liquid, and how interesting she has a big eye on what could be a huge sagging breast near her heart, perhaps the one she looks through when her own are blurred with pain. Awesome lyrics, too. CC

The title to this one says it all - a life lived and survived, wounds and all. Heart wrenching, yet life affirming. She has a focussed intelligence in her eyes daring you to feel sorry for her. An original work of substance!
