Oh wow I can only hope to be this good with Lightwave one day. Everything looks fantastic. Good luck on the rest of your demo reel. -James

This looks superb - I love that all the buildings are different rather than just duplicating to give an impression of greater complexity - your model really is that complex! And all the little touches like the people, stalls, smoke and crows makes the whole that much more believable rather than being a sterile environment. Fantastic work!

Very excellent. I would only say that the white walls are a bit too white.

Man! This is better than a museum diarama (sp?). Love all the little details and what an incredible variation in buildings, too! I especially, like the dolum (sp? ancient rocks) in the graveyard and marketplace in the square. Also, the long house in the upper left corner. And the.... And also the..., etc., etc. What a wonderful creation!

Hey..thats looking great! If i had to crit..it'd be these; 2) The edges are all so perfect and shart..Rooftops wall etc. Not sure if it's worth going in and tryigto fix all those? 3). Perhaps an occlusion pass? Some areas where teh textures meet are very clean and seperate. Like the white wall of teh house down to teh dark ground. again, alot of work to fix..but perhaps a occlusion pass would soften the trasistion..like dirt and mold etc at the bases? 4). Of course I'd love to see a RADIOSITY render..fprime might just rip through this? might be worth a try? 5). only other thing is I love the tree's inteh front..but the ones in back don't seem as real..maybe use some of the other trees? Last but not least, please don't take any of this negatively, or think it's not a terrific render. It's killer! Good luck buddy! Pete

You would not believe how many times I've watched the small trailer you did a ago. This looks like another awesome part of the jigsaw puzzle. Good stuff :)

Wow! Very nice render svenart :) I think the landscape itself in this picture is absolutely amazing. I love the smooth transition between dirt/cracked mud and the grassy areas, as well as the little flowers here and there. Wondderful attention to detail. Even the picket fences look really great! My only criticism is one that petes pointed out. The trees in the back don't look very good. They look like they're all identical to me. I'm pretty sure they're not, but something strikes me as odd about them. Other than that, this is a super-kick-ass creation! I personally think it's one of the best ones you've done so far :D

What about small gardens around some of the larger houses? Bepending on the time period in which this village is supposed to be set (I am guessing after 1250 as the roofing is supported with trusses to the ground) person gardens were a way of supplimenting diet and providing a means to freshen the air.

this is really an excellent work!! but i've difficulties to imagine that there would be such a market in such a small town....

Looks fantastic too me :) If I was being picky I might say that the trees around the back of the village look a bit uniform - but the village itself is amazing :) Great job!!!

Now THIS is good! There's been a lot of, shall I say, 'dark' LW projects lately. Yours captures both the power and the many tools of Lightwave. Very nice detail, you obviously know a little something about history. I especially like the windmill (how it is mounted) and the standing stones in the graveyard. 5+
