Description

I took this shot at the MN Arboretum. I really wanted the bee in focus so the middle of the flower is a bit blurry.... can't win sometimes! Well... I'm learning slowly and don't have a macro lens so this is a start. lol My family went to the Arboretum with Carl (Denger) and he said this was a coneflower. Thanks for the look-see! How is old Carl. He is right, but more people probably recognize it as the echinacea flower. I dunno, looks pretty sharp to me. A lovely close-up with the equipment at hand. :)

Since you never know when the busy bee will take flight, it is most difficult to focus under such difficult circumstances, indeed! In any event, nice sharp clarity and lovely colors in this magnificent macro, my dear.

You have done well without a macro, the focus on the bee is excellent and the overall display and colors very pleasing. I wish I could afford a macro too.
