Description

As lily's are my fave, I think it's fair to say that 75% of the 1036 snaps that Dave has had to look through are of lilys... Lol Ok, the reason there are so many is cos I'm still taking multiple shots of the exact same angle, with different settings, f number thingys, flash, and now starting on shutter speed as well. Thank you for all your comments on my other uploads, I appreciate them all. Tracey

Heavens, at first glance I thought this was the top view of a miter: a tall, ornamented cap with peaks in front and back, worn by the pope, bishops, and abbots as a mark of office. Either that, or the headdress or wimple of sorts worn by French nuns. In any event, a fine capture of a lily species I am not familiar with. And, who is Dave?

Beautiful shot of this just opening lily (Lilium mackliniae, I think) and lovely to see some of the rest of the bouquet in the background too!
