Description

"I can see the carrot at the end of the tunnel." ~ Stuart Pearce

We are back in Boca Raton on a lovely, tree-lined path near where I work. The same one from my Steepled Fingers photo. Another mirrored image, but this time taken with my little 5MP Pentax and then converted to B&W and toned a little. If you view it full size, you can just make out a figure in the center of the path. I made a larger crop of it for the thumbnail image. The mirror was done straight down the middle of this walking figure. Originally this was a "just for the heck of it" post in the Forum, but then I figured what the heck, I may as well post it to my gallery too! :') ------

Thank you for your web of comments on my last upload, thumb_1501188.jpg Mesh ----- Pentax Optio S5i & PhotoshopCS. (986) Boca Raton, Florida, USA 2007 Sponsored by: ott_bot1.gifKramer Kreations ohm.gif

Great perspective and lovely symmetry, works well in b & w adds to the detail that may have been lost in colour

The most facsinating thing is the patterns created by the shadows in the path, I think. Really nice picture!

Yup, what the heck, nothing ventured, nothing gained. This image reminds me somewhat of a military wedding, where the bride and groom proceed down the path outside a church under the raised swords of several members of the armed forces. A touching display at the end of many war movies. Anyway, another fine creation to add to your portfolio of elaborately fashioned mirrored images.
