Enslaved by the evil corporate master, our hero seeks to satisfy his creative drive through new mediums which includes  **(dramatic pause)** the internet. So we see here I'm kind of a goof-ball and I like to laugh.

Okay, my day job is DP/Cameraman I work with a fun and creative bunch but 8 layers of approvals per project can leave a creative person feeling empty. I'm married to Taurus 517, love her a lot, love my daughter, my cats and music.
I am a pro in a different yet similar field so I can take criticism, but prefer the constructive kind. I will, however, explain myself . I would like to improve so anything that will help toward that goal,  please feel free to share.Â
Thanks for stopping by, thanks for your work which I find so inspiring. Have a great day.

Its like looking at an autopsy... This "body" has been opened and inside you find the grain of the tree. It is moist with the sap that gave it life - that still keeps the wood soft and as pliable as possible, even as it is exposed to the air like this. And see? The wood does have a soft feel to it - you can see by the texture of the long grain. How long does a tree continue to live after it has been cut in half? How long before it loses its moisture, its softness... and does it still feel anything as it lays explosed to the elements while waiting to dry up and return to the earth? Basically, I'm saying, this shot is what you make of it. It is either a boring shot of the inside of a tree or it is a whole story about life, death and the joy and tragedies in between.

I think it's just great the way it is! The light and shadows are wonderful, and I agree with PJ - you can see the softness of the wood here. It might have been more interesting if the grain was running at an angle to the frame, but that's just personal preference. It's plenty interesting already!
