This resembles what we called milk weed when I was a child in the north. Before teh pod opened you could stick a fingernail it it and a white milky stuff would ooze out. It was sticky as heck so I always tried not to poke at it. :-) Very nice shot.

It does look like milkweed. It has such a feathery texture.
