Description

The kisser is my daughter, Danielle - the kissee is her best friend, Laurel. I love watching the two of them together. They have SO MUCH FUN, and the closeness they share is obvious every minute they are together. They are both such wonderful human beings. :) Maybe my 'painting' is overkill .. but consider it work in progress - I'm trying to find just the right technique on some of these things .. hoping to see some sort of progression as time goes on. Yippeee, it's FINALLY Friday! It has been one very hectic week this week .. already I'm looking forward to 5:00. There is nothing so dear as a lasting friendship. Great shot and one to cherish, love the sky in the background. There are no strangers in this world, Just friends that have not met. How I wish that was true.

Such a beautiful candid capture Shari of two beautiful young ladies. Your painting isn't overkill to my eyes, it adds so much depth to the shot. A lovely moment of happiness and love forever captured in time!! I love watching my daughter and her best friend like this too - friendship knows no bounds and should be cherished forever! It's a great way of testing your skills and artistic side while they certainly supply you with good candid "modeling opportunities". The style reminds me very much of the "painting" technique on B&W photos before color photographs were invented - classic! Have a good weekend Shari.
