You may have seen this picture in my gallery before - the last version I posted on Renderosity had bad compression related jpg artifacts, but while visiting Essex I retook the picture from exactly the same spot - and fortunatly the weather was much nicer too!
... and here is the result.
Hadleigh Castle overlooks the Thames Estuary in Essex, England and was built around 1230. Noteably during it's history it belonged to three of Henry VIII's wives - Catherine of Aragon, Anne of Cleves and Catherine Parr.
The ruins of two towers and some of its curtain wall are all that remain of this castle.
