I love the colors and overall atmosphere. Maybe you should replace the boat skeleton with something smaller though.

A cracking render, my friend. I love the atmosphere its strong 'Godrays' light, and of course the standing stone. My mother's cousin's farm, north on the caost road from Cushendun, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, over which I roamed as a kid has a whole iron age structure ( a 'cashel' ) still standing. If you wish to see it, have a look at http://www.northantrim.com/torrscenicroadtwo.htm and http://www.irishmegaliths.org.uk/zAltagore.htm As for the boat's bare ribs, I would probably have given them a rust texture, just to suggest something a wee bit surreal, and perched a white owl, or a black raven on them. . Oh, and yes, I do remember 1968 quite well, I was in my last year in school at the time and the Soviet invasion had a great impact on my friends and I. Warm regards froma sunny, but cold, Glasgow, John.

Title is clever and composition is stunning. The colors are good choice and very well enlighted.
