Description

Captured 4/18/07 around 7:40 AM, within walking distance of my residence. Truth be told, I didn't like this shot in its raw state because it appeared rough hewn and unroselike, so instead of trashing it, I postworked it for this effect. I plan to do similar postworking on future unsatisfactory photos. Have a worthwhile weekend.

Excellent postwork choices, my dear! This is quite beautiful. If I've never had a dream about roses before, I'm sure I will now! The colors in this rose are just gorgeous, and I love the effect you created. Perfect!

This is brilliant, Harry! I love what you have done. There is no such thing as an ugly rose - its all in the way its presented. Wonderful job and you managed to retain those beuatiful pastels!
