Description

As it is with our planet, so it is within space. Life forms abound in a myriad of shapes and sizes. Jonathon Bah Can who was the son of a famous mathematician discovered the Bah Can Space Anemone. Its glowing tendrils and unique flower like appendages enhance the striking beauty of this creature. There are many variations of the space anemone, but this particular space anemone has been the most studied species. These lovely space creatures live in communities on the edge of space whirlpools. As with the anemones in our oceans, these space anemones cohabitate with the Gliktok Fish. The Gliktok Fish is not really a fish at all. It was given this name because of its symbiotic relationship the space anemone. Because of the darkness of space, these creatures emit light for navigation purposes and for finding food. It would appear that light attracts light and thus the anemone and its fish companion are able to attract light energy particles that are a staple of their diets. These particles are absorbed into their systems and are the source of the illumination that comes from these creatures. Created in Apophysis. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a heart felt thank you to those of you who favored me as an artist or favored one of my images. I appreciate it very much. I wish you a day of rainbows and daffodils to fill your garden of dreams.

I've seen space anemones, but not this awesomely beautiful variety, though I have heard of them. At least now I can say I have seen a representation of one, and know just how wonderful they are!
