My wife took this picture at The Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary in Brooklyn, Pretoria (South Africa).

Is this a finch? It reminds me of a type of finch. I'm not good with identifying birds, however. :o) Excellent capture!

The common waxbill is not common in my part of the woods. Lovely bird shot.
