Description
I had a good idea, spent a lot of time, but the image just won't do what I want. Posting for some of your helpful comments.

I agree with the need for interior lighting, but pedestrians would interfere with your theme. You've done a fantastic job with the architecture!

How about some light coming out from the inside of that bar? Definetly some more dynamic lighting, and maybe a few pedestrians.

Very nice design, incredible.

Love those Bldgs! Maybe a car or two(one Abandonned, with it's wheels stolen!). A manhole with steam coming out of it. Dirty up the bricks a bit. An old, torn newspaper... You get the idea! But, Don't mind me; It's great as is!

Very nice work. I'd also agree that the lighting is the key, here -- and a little more disorder; the street is amazingly clean. If you can, you might try putting a few evenly spaced spotlights in the overhanging eaves shining straight down -- one directly over the door -- to give some harsh shadows. Maybe make the sign on top into neon tubes? I'd tone down the overall lighting (is it ambient in Poser?) so there's much more dark area to contrast against the light areas. I like the composition and concept very much. Clever idea to use a Budweiser label, but I've never a sign that's the whole label.

Textures and concept are great. I think what bugs me is the composition. The view angle is not very dynamic and the figures are very small and very centered, with a considerable amount of unmotivated dead space. The clothing could use a little more variety of color as well, they look pretty "clean" compared to your good naturalistic backgrounds.

I agree with AzChip -- proper lighting and shadows can make even the most static of scenes seem dynamic...the lighting as it is now seems fairly even; IMO this would look great if the overall light level were reduced and "strategic" bits were illuminated with some spotlights, maybe some subtle reds and purples
