Thank you so much for the great comments on 'More Than Meets the Eye!' I enjoyed the different impressions you had when you saw it. Well, when I first laid eyes on this a minute ago, I didn't see the almonds, but I kept looking, and then there they were! Wow! You're right, this does look exactly like a bunch of almonds, texture and all! Amazing that you got the texture in here too, y'know? Bravo to you, and now, I shall go have my morning cereal with my almond milk, and think of your fractal! grin :D

Funny how things go. There was a box of almonds in the office at work this AM. It has 12 pounds of almonds wrapped for individual sale. There was a note, take what you want. I wondered who would want all those almonds, what would they do with them? I guess they could be fractals, in a cereal bowl.

Didn't know about Almond, searching the net, and here it is: The Almond, Prunus dulcis, syn. Prunus amygdalus, or Amygdalus communis) is a small deciduous tree belonging to the subfamily Prunoideae of the family Rosaceae; an almond is also the fruit of this tree. The plant is classified with the peach in the subgenus Amygdalus within Prunus, distinguished from the other subgenera by the corrugated seed shell. Thanks for this beauty! RS

Whew! I thought I was the only one! I was wondering if there was anyone else who talks to their fractals. I mean, I figured a lot of people probably talk to them, but only a select few actually hear them talk back. Glad I'm not alone! Nice nuts Carol! :)
