I made this for a local friend who wanted a "simple, realistically detailed" Earth-Space picture for her desktop. Being a college student, she can't afford 3D software. Also prone to engage me in discussion on things like the nature of faith.
Faith is something I bought up in a different context recently. In the normal context of things; faith (especially dealing with intangibles, eg, we believe the sun will rise tomorrow, so we make plans to do what one needs to do,) can be a motivator, likewise, faith in a higher ideal, is a mechanism that lifts us to a greater, more positive standard. Whatever one's personal interpretation of G-O-D may be; and I'm not saying this to put down anyone's belief system, there is a bottom line here: Faith aside, "can you look me in the eye & guarantee me that that there's an afterlife?" A Heaven & Hell, A Perfumed Garden with houris, Nirvana, Valhalla? No, you can't. Hence my title, Is Anybody Out There?
It's nice to believe, but nobody's going to know for sure, until we each as individuals, pass on, because dying is an individual exit from this plane.

Beautiful view! I have always looked as death as the beginning to the next great adventure. It would be nice to see this in the rearview at the beginning of the journey.

I can. but I can't prove it to anyone who has not experienced it. Yes, we all have faith. Even the atheist has to have faith that there is no God. They are counting on it. Heaven & Hell is there. I been in Hell already. I was in a dark place; so dark that there was no white in the black. The thought hit me " I in Hell" I yell as loud as I could "JESUS I did not know you was real; save me. " I saw a door open up by me in the black and I wake up in a cold sweat then. My room mate say the next day he heard me yelling something but could not understant what I was yelling but it give him cold chills
