Description

I saw this ladybug close to the web that killed the leaves of the bush it was on. I like to put contrasting elements in my images. Here is life and death in the same image. Yes I know I use life and death in a lot of my images in brcye but not too much in photos. I donot know what made the web to kill the leaves on this bush. It not on a tree but a bush. The animal that made the web was gone so I got no images of him. I think it was some type of worm that may have tranform into some other animal. I just guessing here. Some one may know what it was. Hope this is a ladybug too lol I used a 200 mm lenes on a 35mm camera Thank you for looking and commending and votes too if you do I got to go to store and buy ink for my printer lol It out and I need to get two images ready for a show tomorrow. So I got to print and cut mats to put into the frams. not hard to learn to cut mats. took me up to six matt boards to learn,[slow learner lol]. Now I think I do better that the store and I do not cover a halve inch around my images just 1/8 of a inch.

that web was more than likely formed by a caterpillar. I have been fighting them here on trees. I have not seen more than 2-3 lady bugs all summer.yours is beautiful

tent caterpillars is what made that web!! they are a menace!!! and can kill people. in northern Ontario so many hatch and move across the highway at one time that cars can hit these patches and slide off the road. their flying stage there are so many millions of them when i ride motor cycle at night i get covered in them completely! and if you stop and walk around you then give off a glow and one cop i know stopped me and was freaked said i looked like some kind of alien!! but was worse yet when get up close. 1/2 inch of dead gooey bugs covering me.... Photograph Make: SONY Model: CYBERSHOT Shutter Speed: 10/4000 sec F Number: f/5.6 Focal Length: 8 mm ISO Speed: 100 don,t look like 200 mil goes on that? nice shot jock

Such a beautiful little ladybird (we call then that in England) I love the hues in this glorious capture Jock, your beautiful signature style of shot too. I bet the mats you make are better than the ones you buy!! Good luck with the show, look after you, my friend. Hugs. Di.

Tent caterpillars...ewww. Very social bugs but they destroy the trees they live in and it's so ugly when they do. The ladybug is probably looking for one for a meal :)

The orange ladybug really pops out in this image, Jock! It looks so tiny contrasted to the rest of the environment. I believe ladybugs eat aphids, but I'm not sure.
