Description
Dragons typically build their nests in late fall when the air turns a bit chilly. They collect tail scales and toenails that have been shed over the summer months and use them to fashion nesting sites in dried-up river beds. These nests are well camouflaged and can be difficult to spot... except for the tell-tale iridescent bubbles that form on the surface. This occurs because even tiny dragon hatchlings have really hot breath... so when it rises and makes contact with the cooler autumn air, it creates bubbles of condensation.
At least that's my theory...and I'm stickin' with it... ;)

Oh! Oh! Oh! What a fabulous find!! You must be VERY sharp eyed to have spotted this magnificent dragon's nest, and VERY brave to get so close to get this wonderful capture!! VERY dangerous to get this close when there are EGGS present!! My goodness you were lucky!! OH. Unless .. oh my, did you use an invisible spell? Still .. dragons have a strong sense of smell ... Big thanks to Madcatter for the heads up on this one!!
