Description

FE & wayyyyy too much PS Hi all! Well, after a couple of days of utter fractal withdrawal...I've finally got my laptop back after repairs...Whew! Unnerving stuff, that is... Not even so certain that *I* like this image...but it's what came...as I got lost inside one of my favorite pieces of music...so I've left it as is. If you've not indulged your soul the poignant journey through Barber's *Adagio for Strings*...you've deprived it. Never do I get through the entire piece without being moved to the core. I strongly suggest a listen...It's a journey into the most moving place... Hope each of you has had a great weekend...and that the week's beginning treats you kindly. And, one more, gracious thanks and appreciation for your terrific comments on things that have come before. Hugs and Thoughts, Nancy~*

Wonderful image Nancy! Looks like a painting done on canvas that had been folded. I dont know the piece of music you mentioned, but if it inspires work such as this then it must be a very moving piece indeed.

Like a tapestry! Almost seems animated, with the different folds suggesting frames. Excellent colors, too,Nancy!

This is a lovely, calming place to be Nancy! Beautiful texture and soft colors of the woods. It reminds me of a lovely old house where I spent a summer in Nebraska. There were lovely antique quilts and textured wall paper in these colors with soft golden sunlight filtering in. This is a lovely image to curl up to! Hugs :)

Splendid music does motivate splendid art! Love the colors and the design. I thought I was seeing little dragons popping up there, but it was a figment of my imagination. ;o) Excellent work. Bunny

I like the finish you have put on this one and the sections make it look like a silk screen. Lovely work.

An interesting piece, and you're the first person I've ever known to say that a piece of music inspired a certain fractal--but hey, if it works...grin I've never heard that particular piece of music, I don't think, so I might just have to look it up. I'm a Beethoven fan, myself (Moonlight Sonata, 1st movement is just the best!). But I have to tell you, those two brown pieces in there, the way they're placed, remind me an awful lot of a musical symbol! I know that there's a musical symbol quite like that--some kind of a rest, perhaps--I can't remember at the moment, though I should jolly well know, being a very musical person myself. You might want to look it up and see, because I'm pretty sure of it! Nicely done, anyway, and thanks much for the explanation! :D

I like to see abstracts, wander around with my eyes and find forms in them. It's relaxing and refreshing. Your image has this quality :-) I see butterflies, smiling fishes (what the heck are they doing in your garden ?) - and I can hear the wind sing! Wonderful!

How tails of peacocks in the train of pavaner to the sound of the unspecified adagio, saddest possible... so that they avoid courrir and destroying your marvellous fresco, of which I adore the texture of the support!!! SPLENDID!!!

Lovely unusual work. It's interesting that it looks like different wooden panels that were painted and put together.
