Description

This is my first upload in over 4 years. I was working with Terragen and Bryce on my first 3 pictures. I am now trying out Vue. This is one of my first attempts at making a realistic desert landscape that did not look too corny. I am still working on it, but Vue crashes a bit. This is also one of the few images I rendered with less than a billion polygons. I rendered this image all in Vue 6I with some levels adjustment in PS. This image took I believe 3 hours to render on ultra setting. Please comment!! I need some input hehe.

Great lighting and terrain sculpting. The background just seems too high for my eyes and doesn't convey the same level of realism that everything else you labored over. Perhaps if you added a little snow at its highest levels it would seem more realistic. This is just me though and no one ever listens to what I think ;). Great work though. 5

Like your textured terrain upfront and the sense of depth. Nice clouds. Have you tried TG2 yet?

I am still trying out the free TG2. I just downloaded it a week ago. Still a bit confused on the UI atm.
