Description
Went to one of my favorite wild flower spots and found they had mowed part of it down :-0, but it aloud me to go deeper into the field with less obstruction. Working my way around a large stand of trees I found an area of pink thistle, where there is thistle there is something to shot. I worked through some wait a minute vines, that is vines with a lot of thorns that grab your close as you go by so you have to stop and get loose before continuing, Positioned myself in the middle of the thistle and before long several different types of butterflies and dragonflies showed up along with bees, most of witch I had several shots of already, wishing for something new to shoot, along came this Giant Swallowtail, first one I've ever seen. Thanks so much for each one of you that have taken time to view my work and for your comments, each one is much appreciated.
