Description

Nikon 7900 image. I like all the various Skippers. They are relatively calm, they perch often, and they have stocky little robust bodies. This one almost seemed to glow with a golden color in the midday sun as he found a resting spot among the ripening grass seed pods. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

Another brilliant macro shot and I love the addition of your finger in the shot, it gives a sense of scale. Lovely colours and textures and the lighting really highlights the wings. Excellent. xx

Brilliant macro once again, fantastic detail, love the way its front leg is resting on your finger, you seem to have an affinity with the little critters around your patch. Thanks for sharing.

I have seen many of these little critters around here! Great macro, and I agree with Jeff, you seem to have an affinity with all the creatures! Fabulous.

I concur with BibbyBear - the inclusion of the figer was a nice "touch" to give a sense of scale. Super sharp all the way through on your point of focus- fantastic macro!
